Social Gastronomy
Combine technical knowledge, creativity and a sustainable view of the kitchen.
Insert healthy diet to improve health and self-esteem, develop the sense of organization and leadership capacity of young people and children that live in communities on the outskirts of Nova Iguaçu.
These are the proposals of the kitchen-school, a space of social transformation. Here, they learn to harmonize food, prepare dishes, hygiene and handling standards and technical procedures, rescue history and appreciate local products, and are encouraged to reduce consumption of industrialized products and food waste.
